Janet L Falbo – Boca Raton, Florida

Inspirational Quote:

34.7.8  Having started out on the way of life everlasting, having accepted the assignment and received your orders to advance, do not fear the dangers of human forgetfulness and mortal inconstancy, do not be troubled with doubts of failure or by perplexing confusion, do not falter and question your status and standing, for in every dark hour, at every crossroad in the forward struggle, the Spirit of Truth will always speak, saying, “this is the way.”

Personal Story:

As  I watched the radiant orange sun rise over the Jerusalem hills on August 21, 1994;  In celebration of Christ Michael of Nebadon’s birth, 2,000  years ago on Urantia; I made a solemn vowed to my Beloved Adjuster to follow his Divine Plan with a conscious choice to do the Will of my Father.
And so it is!

Isn’t that great Michael! I love the idea that everyone’s favorite quote is so personal and consequently, it shows us a very unique perspective from the UB reader’s point of view. I find that it helps me to better understand the one who has shared the quote with all of us i.e. Janet Falbo today. I’m starting to anticipate who will be the UB Reader of the Day and to find out what their quote and message will be. Have a great day everyone!

Hi Eric! I love your comments that you have been posting on Urantia Family Ties. I also love the way that Janet’s quote and message has made a connection with you in your personal life. Isn’t that wonder/full to see how we are all connected together as one big Urantia Family and that ‘the act of one’ creates a ‘consequence in others’. And when that comes from The Fifth Epochal Revelation – well, it creates an everlasting reality that is truly full of wonder! Thanks Eric for your comment!

Hi Diane, What a pleasure hearing from you another blessed individual who shares the love of God … The Urantia Book is such a wonderful treasure.. and so awsume having read it all these years and yet more often than not I read or hear something and it is as though its brad new… thanks for touching in on the virtual level the words are so important for the feeling of being connected..

  • Diane Labrecque

You’re right Eric. After all, until we reach our morontia state, we do need words to communicate our state of mind, our inner thoughts. To tell someone you love them creates a much better feeling than telling someone that you cannot stand their presence. On that note, I send you thoughts of Love! Enjoy your day!

102:5.3 You can psychologize evolutionary religion but not the personal-experience religion of spiritual origin. Human morality may recognize values, but only religion can conserve, exalt, and spiritualize such values. But notwithstanding such actions, religion is something more than emotionalized morality. Religion is to morality as love is to duty, as sonship is to servitude, as essence is to substance. Morality discloses an almighty Controller, a Deity to be served; religion discloses an all-loving Father, a God to be worshiped and loved. And again this is because the spiritual potentiality of religion is dominant over the duty actuality of the morality of evolution.

Hi Diane… it’s this last statement that has me stumped… I get the first part I think.. the part that say spiritual potentiality… but the second part …….duty actuality of the morality of evolution… do you think its kinda like Love is dominant over doing the right thing…. .. I ‘m just trying to make sence of it ……if you have any insites I would love to hear it… (sorry about the bad spelling perhaps my motivation to find out is dominant about my attachment to how I look as a bad speller) haha
