In the three months ending January, the number of advertised roles in North America made up 65.8% of total industrial automation jobs – up from 61.4% in the same period last year.

Which countries are seeing the most growth for industrial automation job ads in the food industry?
The fastest-growing country was the US, which accounted for 62.2% of adverts in the three months ending January this year, against 58.3% in the three months ending January 2021.
That was followed by India (up three percentage points), Germany (up one point), and the UK (up 0.9 of a point).
Which cities are the biggest hubs for industrial automation workers in the food industry?
Some 3.6% of all food industry industrial automation roles were advertised in Charlotte in the US in the three months ending January.
The Indian city of Bengaluru also accounted for 3.6% of ads, followed by Indianapolis in the US with 2.1% and Chicago with 1.9%.
